Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Data Strategy Director for our Enterprise Solutions - Data-Digital-Inno team.
This job will be done hybrid on our Lincoln, RI campus.

Position Summary:
The Data Strategy Director will play a critical role in shaping, leading, and executing the enterprise-wide data strategy at Amica. This role will act as a key strategic partner to senior leadership, overseeing the design, planning, implementation, and ongoing optimization of the company’s data investments.
Responsibilities:
- As a member of the Chief Data Officer’s leadership team, this leader will partner with stakeholders across the company to define and execute the company’s enterprise-wide data strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- In partnership with our Sr. Data Governance Manager, contribute to the development and refinement of the company’s data governance framework, helping to ensure that data quality, security, and compliance standards are met.
- Help design a roadmap for the effective use of data across the enterprise, facilitating prioritization of key data initiatives.
- Lead and manage complex, cross-functional projects to execute the data strategy.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resources for key data initiatives, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Monitor and report on the status of ongoing projects, mitigating risks, managing stakeholder expectations, and resolving any project-related challenges.
- Act as the primary liaison between the Chief Data Officer and key business units, facilitating communication and alignment on data priorities, objectives, and progress.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and reports for executive leadership and other key stakeholders, communicating data strategy progress, risks, and outcomes.
- Monitor the effectiveness of data strategies, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, tools, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Stay informed on the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to data strategy, analytics, and digital transformation.
- May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Requires bachelor’s degree in related field (Data Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, etc.). Master’s degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in data strategy, business strategy, project management, or similar roles.
- Proven experience leading and managing large, cross-functional projects from inception to execution.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence desired outcomes.
- Ability to translate complex data concepts into actionable insights and tangible business outcomes.
