This entry-level position involves providing exceptional customer service through the handling of inbound and outbound telephone service calls for our First Notice of Loss section. Additional duties include assisting with our roadside assistance and glass programs.  

Salary:  

This position provides an annual salary of $39,894 to $43,883 ($20.46 - $22.50/hr). A 5% shift differential may apply, providing an equivalent annual rate of pay of $41,888 - $46,077 ($21.48 - $23.63/hr). Shift differential compensation is considered variable compensation and applies only when working eligible schedules. This is subject to change, based on future schedule changes. Amica reserves the right to modify your schedule based on business needs which could impact the shift differential.  
Schedule: 
 
We are offering a 37.5 hour work week with several scheduling options that will primarily fall within the hours of 7am to 6pm EST. However, there may be limited evening opportunities available as well. Here are some examples of potential schedules which are subject to change depending on our needs:
  • 8:00am to 3:30pm schedule, Monday through Friday, and every other Saturday. There is a day off during the week (TBD) when working Saturday. A 5% shift differential may apply.  
  • 10:30am to 6:00 pm schedule Monday through Friday, and every other Saturday. There is a day off during the week (TBD) when working Saturday. A 5% shift differential may apply.
Responsibilities: 
  •  Providing exceptional customer service through telephone contact for our First Notice of Loss section 
  •  Gain customer trust and respect by establishing and maintaining effective relationships 
  •  Assisting with roadside assistance and glass programs as needed 
Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Excellent computer keyboard skills (35 wpm) as well as letter writing and computer processing 
  • Required to obtain state insurance licenses as needed and meet continuing education requirements. Comprehensive training is provided. 
  • Previous insurance background is a plus

Amica conducts background checks which includes a review of criminal, educational, employment and social media histories, and if the role involves use of a company vehicle, a motor vehicle or driving history report. The background check will not be initiated until after a conditional offer of employment is made and the candidate accepts the offer.
