Job Overview:

Our Student Help program is designed for students who are currently enrolled in school and will be continuing their studies in the fall. This opportunity is an excellent way for students to receive hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn our billing system and processes
  • Take customer telephone calls to assist them with payment and billing inquiries  
  • Make outbound calls to assist customers with payment and billing inquiries 
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions  
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

Salary and Work Schedule:

The working schedule is Monday - Friday, 30 to 40 hours per week during the months of May, June, July and August. The salary for this position will be $17.50 per hour.

Qualifications:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a high school or college undergraduate program
  • Professionalism
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Attention to detail and problem solving
  • Organization and planning
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Windows
  • Time management and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Amica conducts background checks which includes a review of criminal, educational, employment and social media histories, and if the role involves use of a company vehicle, a motor vehicle or driving history report. The background check will not be initiated until after a conditional offer of employment is made and the candidate accepts the offer. Qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment.
