Location: Lincoln, RI (Corporate Information Systems department)

Are you looking for a career in a growing industry with new products, new markets and new technology?

Our Lincoln, Rhode Island office is seeking an Agile Coach who will lead the continuing Agile transformation within the Corporate Information Systems (CIS) department through teaching and coaching established, and new Agile teams, and associated stakeholders. Additionally, provide thought leadership to increase CIS Agile maturity, and display a strong passion and pragmatism to promote Agile methods and mindsets.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
• Train and coach the CIS workforce on Agile practices, and ceremonies, building upon current Agile successes within CIS, while promoting continuous improvement in the ongoing adaption, and sustainment of those practices.
• Provide ongoing coaching and mentoring to roles critical to the success of Agile adaption and sustainment.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement actions to increase organizational Agile maturity, as measured through an established and quantified Agile Maturity Model.
• Improve and develop Agile practices that promote innovation, rapid delivery, methodology sustainment, and pragmatism.
• Develop and deliver training curriculums focused on general Agile awareness, Agile roles and responsibilities, Agile ceremonies, Lean processes, and continuous improvement.
• Further develop, standardize, and publicize Agile metrics to optimize team performance and promote continuous improvement
• Be a trusted advisor and consultant with Management staff on continued Agile deployment, organizational changes facilitating that deployment, and portfolio planning enabled by that deployment
• Understand the organization’s technical, product, and overall business strategies to best align Agile deployment and practices to meet strategic objectives.
• Assist in resolving organizational impediments that prevent Agile teams from completing sprint commitments.

Position Requirements:
• 4-year degree and 9+ years of experience delivering multiple and/or highly complex projects (Agile and Waterfall methods),
• Mastery of Agile methodologies and practices as demonstrated by any of the following:
o 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Program Manager
o 3+ years of Agile coaching experience with teams that are new to Agile processes
o Agile certification in any form of the following: Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified SAFe Agilist
• Agile curriculum development, training material preparation, and delivery
• Superb written and verbal communications skills, to include delivery before varied organizational entities
• Exhibited passion for the benefits of Agile methodologies, and organizational change
• Experience in the utilization of JIRA for Agile planning and task execution

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
• PMP, Lean or Six Sigma certifications
• 10+ years of experience in project delivery roles (Agile and “Waterfall” methods)
• Master’s Degree (MBA or technical degree)
• Professional experience within an Information Technology organization (developer, tester, systems analyst, management role)
• Publication of original content related to Agile practices and methodology
