Our Lincoln, RI is seeking an ETL Developer to develop code, test and debug Extract Transform and Load (ETL) solutions using existing and emerging data integration methods and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, code, test and debug Extract Transform and Load (ETL) solutions using existing and emerging data integration methods and tools. 
  • Develop data transformations for integration solutions according to specifications.               
  • Participates in design, development, test and implementation of data transformation objects using current tools and software.  
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to data transformation, process flows and transformation issues. 
  • Assist in preparing detailed system specifications from which integrations will be developed.
  • Manage assigned work through all phases of the Application Development Life Cycle. Utilize and maintain technical and applications expertise, including the use of technologies, tools, programming standards, established processes, and concepts necessary to develop quality IT solutions. 
  • Assist with maintaining, updating and monitoring the team’s incidents, problems, defects and all work requests.  Provide mentoring regarding setup and development of data integration technologies and configurations.


Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Informatics or a closely related field plus 4 years experience developing and maintaining Data Warehouse and ETL applications. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, to include each of the following:

  • 2 years experience utilizing IBM DataStage Designer and Director for development, administration, and maintenance of data warehouse applications.
  • 2 years experience implementing complex ETL transformations using complex queries and stored procedures.
  • 2 years experience preparing detailed system specifications for development of data integrations and migrations.
  • 2 years experience performing extraction and loading using SQL, DB2 and Teradata Databases.
  • 2 years experience with scripting to automate file preparation and database tools Capability to understand requirements and convert to design.
