Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis Systems Analyst (Oracle Cloud) to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team.  This individual will partner with the team to implement changes to Oracle Cloud based on business needs and support various processes such as expense allocations and the annual Financial Operating Plan including migration and archiving of the plan, forecast and budget.  The individual will also be responsible for reviewing current procedures and providing recommendations for improvement.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support EPM applications through the development and maintenance of system administration tasks
  • Provide operational support for planning, forecasting and budgeting efforts
  • Write, edit and maintain modeling rules in BSO and ASO cubes
  • Create, edit and maintain forms and their attached rules within EPBCS application
  • Create, edit and maintain allocations within PCMCS application
  • Research, troubleshoot and resolve issues within Oracle Cloud in collaboration with business users and Oracle support
  • Review current procedures and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Migrate and archive data between test and production environments
  • Thorough documentation of processes and procedures

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/MIS/Accounting/Finance/Mathematics or related field of study
  • Strong understanding of Financial and Planning concepts
  • 2+ years’ experience with Oracle Cloud, Hyperion EPM, and/or Essbase
  • Experience with Essbase Business Rules, Groovy Scripts, MaxL scripting language is strongly preferred
  • Superior computer skills with the ability to learn new software tools as needed
  • Understanding of business processes, including core Accounting and Finance concepts, as well as, fundamental reporting requirements
  • Ability to comprehend analytical models and business intelligence concepts
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team setting
  • Good written and verbal communication; can network well with others across the department and organization
  • Inquisitive and detail-oriented with strong research, organizational and time management skills
