Our Lincoln, RI office is seeking a Lead Remedy Developer who will act independently/collaboratively to perform technical design, development, testing and implementation of highly complex IT solutions using existing and emerging technologies requiring expertise in multiple application areas. The Remedy Platform Lead position is a blend of 3 roles: Administrator, Developer, and Architect.

This position will be eligible for two remote work days a week.


  • Utilize and maintain a high level of technical and applications expertise, including the use of technologies, tools, programming standards, established processes, and concepts necessary to develop quality IT solutions.
  • Lead and/or participate in the development and sustenance of the ITSM Platform in support of ITSM Program and other programs across organization.
  • Possess extensive Remedy product knowledge and experience applicable in driving and supporting ITSM and ITAM initiatives.
  • Conduct Remedy Platform meetings, establish and ensure development standards are current and followed, manage assigned and prioritized work.
  • Lead and/or participate in all activities associated with the ITSM Remedy suite including design, construction, testing, documentation and implementation of IT solutions for multiple and/or complex systems.
  • Facilitate collaboration with team members as well as across teams, sections and departments to complete work in a timely manner.
  • Actively work with stakeholders to gather requirements. Document proposed solutions based on requirements gathered. Articulate and present solutions and options to stakeholders.
  • Support and develop 3rd party integrations.
  • Coordinate with all technical teams supporting CMDB Data Source Integrations.
  • Generate process flows and diagrams for proposed, architected and implemented (“as built”) solutions.
  • Provide mentoring, guidance, and training to other IT personnel handling both routine and more complex work.

Technical Requirements:

As a Lead Remedy Developer, must possess advanced knowledge and experience of:

  • Remedy Developer Studio
  • SRM Catalog Management (SRD, PDT, AOT, Entitlements)
  • CMDB (Class Manager, Normalization, Reconciliation, Data Administration, Class Data Model)
  • ITSM Suite (Incident, Problem, Change, Work Order, Asset)
  • Pentaho Spoon (Jobs/Transformations)
  • Atrium Integrator
  • Smart Reporting


  • Typically requires a 4-year degree and a minimum of 9 years of experience in multiple and/or highly complex application areas or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Committed to continuous learning and sharing of that learning. This includes, but not limited to training sessions or seminars, with a focus on expanding knowledge beyond the current role including leadership and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to effectively break down, prioritize and manage multiple competing tasks independently regardless of complexity.

  • Capable of managing large complex assignments and problem resolution with a focus on a successful outcome.

  • Ability to communicate effectively within CIS as well as business units (using non-technical language when appropriate) up to the executive level about planned work, completed work, and next steps.
