Recruiting Internship Program – Learning and Talent Development

Our Learning and Talent Development Department is offering a paid internship program that will allow the selected candidate to develop skills associated with the talent acquisition function for our Future Leaders Program. The selected candidate will further enhance his/her communication and leadership skills while learning the various stages of talent acquisition. Through participation in this internship experience, you will learn what sets Amica apart from other companies and why college students look to us for not only a job but a career.

This internship will take place in our Corporate Office located in Lincoln, RI starting in December 2018 and will continue throughout the spring semester. This is a paid internship, working a minimum of 20 hours per week at a rate of $17/hour. Our internship program is designed for students who are currently enrolled in their senior year at an accredited college/university.

Candidates may be considered for full time employment after graduation in our Future Leaders Program.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Assist with Amica’s recruiting team with day to day functions of recruiting and hiring process
• Assist the recruiting team with duties such as career fair preparation and interview process
• Support our recruiters by creating marketing materials
• Develop a working knowledge of our applicant tracking system and assist with various aspects of our selection process
• Process interview notes and correspond directly with candidates regarding application status
• Partner with our recruiters to develop on-line marketing strategies including social media
• Coordinate and schedule candidates for interviews at Amica’s home office

Job Requirements:

• Experience with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to effectively plan and manage multiple tasks and/or projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated customer service experience
• Ability to work well within a team
• Strong communication and leadership skills
