We are seeking interns who are highly proficient with Scala to assist with a project initiative, which will require reverse engineering Scala code.   This internship will take place between the core business hours of 8:00 AM- 5:00PM, Monday- Friday and will run for six months.


  • Reverse engineering Scala code


  • Proficient in Scala and Parquet files
  • Experience with Python, Java, Docker and Spark is a plus
  • Enrolled in an IT Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university and are currently in their junior or senior year, or in a graduate program.
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
  • Applicants should have the desire to work in a technical field
  • The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be well-organized and have the ability to work in a team environment

Due to the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the timing of the Amica Home Office re-entry is undetermined at this point. More details will be provided as they become available.
