Responsibilities:

• Lead process improvement facilitation workshops and other interactive sessions with subject matter experts, project sponsors, customers, and other key stakeholders to understand current state processes, customer/process pain points, and future state requirements in order to identify and implement improvements.
• Independently document and design operations and processes, define improvements, create and execute against strategic implementation plans.
• Drive research, analysis, and improvement recommendations to company’s business processes.
• Collaborate with and advise improvement project sponsors, managers, and leaders to prioritize, shape and deliver continuous process improvement projects.
• Assist in determining business issues and recommending solutions to drive business value using Lean Six Sigma methodology.
• Identify waste in processes and assist in creating a culture of continuous improvement.
• Independently identify new trends and metrics for judging efficiency/opportunities, by studying operational and performance data and key performance indicators.
• Independently monitor existing processes using KPIs to make sure they continue to perform at optimal levels of efficiency.
• Routinely work on several improvement projects simultaneously; usually with cross-departmental and/or cross-divisional groups of people.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum 4 years’ experience
• Lean Six Sigma certification and experience in facilitating via Six Sigma
• Experience in Agile toolset such as Jira and Confluence
• Digital and user experience analysis  preferred
• Life insurance, annuity product or financial services experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Visio, Excel, Access,
• Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, able to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
• Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative, team-based environment.
• Strong problem-solving and systems thinking abilities
