Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Senior IT Developer to work in Guidewire BillingCenter. The job involves development, testing and implementation of complex IT solutions using existing and emerging technologies. May be called upon to perform additional job duties.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
• Prepares detailed program specifications from which applications will be developed
• Manages assigned work through all phases of the Application Development Life Cycle
• Gives effective mentoring and guidance to other IT development personnel and may assist in developing standards for program development
• Provides coverage and support of production application systems

Job Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of the Application Development Life Cycle
• Must have a strong working knowledge of Guidewire BillingCenter, Java, XML, Web Services and Oracle/SQL Server
 • Spring Boot and/or the Spring framework experience preferred
• Must have experience leading a small development team through the project life cycle
• Attends training and/or industry seminars as appropriate, to stay abreast of current technologies, trends and directions
