Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Sponsorship Specialist to coordinate and manage corporate sponsorship events and public relations activities at the direction of the Sponsorship Manager.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

•Identify sponsorship opportunities and review proposals to maximize benefits with the goal of increasing Amica’s visibility and brand awareness
•Negotiate sponsorship proposals and handle all aspects of implementation. This includes daily interaction with event organizers, vendors, media, etc.
•Work closely with the internal writing and public relations staff to maximize sponsorship PR and social media
•Travel to and work events that are held locally, as well as, in branch locations located countrywide
•Coordinate branch support at events
•Speak at events when opportunities exist
•Monitor branch budgets
•Perform other tasks and duties as required

Job Requirements:

•A Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Event Management, Marketing or Communications)
•Minimum one year of sponsorship experience strongly preferred
•Strong organizational skills and the ability to simultaneously coordinate multiple projects
•Excellent interpersonal skills
•Must be proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel
•Experience with social media websites
•Familiarity in the insurance industry preferred
•Position entails non-traditional hours, travel, working on weekends and overtime when necessary
•Position involves a high level of physical activity including booth set-up, lifting and prolonged hours manning a booth at events
