Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an intern for our Corporate Communications department. This is a paid internship and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week during the summer months. Our internship is designed for individuals who have completed at least their freshman year from an accredited college/university and will be continuing their undergraduate studies in the Fall.

We are looking for an intern that would assist our various teams in Corporate Communications over the course of the summer. Our teams include graphic design, photography and video, social media, corporate social responsibility, corporate event planning, corporate sponsorships, project management, communications and public relations.

Tasks may include:

  • Assist with the creation of tracking URLs for social advertising campaigns
  • Research competitors’ social media presence and analyze effectiveness of Amica’s social activity
  • Analyze employee participation in our Corporate Social Responsibility programs
  • Create reports to capture the impact of our corporate giving
  • Assist with Amica sponsored community events and events held at the corporate headquarters
  • Create reports using various platforms to evaluate productivity, efficiency and effectiveness
  • Assist with creation of a content catalogue

 
Job Requirements:

  • Candidates should be pursuing a degree in Communications, Business or similar field
  • A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
  • Ability to work independently, once provided with instruction
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Proficient computer skills and familiarity with a variety of software products (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and writing skills, along with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
