Amica Insurance located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Student Intern for our Corporate Information Systems Department. The intern will assist our Production Support team within CIS. This is a paid internships and the working hours are 37.50 hours per week during the summer with the possibility of continuing employment during the school year. Amica has created an internship program that is an excellent way for students to receive hands-on experience.


Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Administrative tasks
  • Moving data into Confluence
  • Organizing documentation
  • Running and/or documenting meetings
  • Query monitoring, OOSE updates, assisting with incidents
  • May be called upon to complete other tasks

Requirements:

  • Enrolled in an IT Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university and are currently in their junior or senior year
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Attention to detail, organized and have ability to multi-task
  • Candidate must be willing to learn
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independent
  • Experience in MS Office
  • Availability to return after internship ends is a plus
