Our office in Lincoln, Rhode Island, is seeking a technical assistant with an hourly rate of $17.85. The schedule is 18-20 hours per week. It will consist of working 5 days. Monday through Friday within operation hours of 8:00am-5:00pm.

This is a part time position that will last for approximately 13 weeks averaging 18-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• General support work which may include but not limited to typing, filing, and handling mail
• Responsible for the opening, sorting and distribution of incoming mail to the office, collecting and stamping outgoing mail from the office
• Scanning/converting documents into the imaging system and index scanned documents
• Collect and distribute all paperwork generated by the printers at various times during the workday
• Making sure all the printers are always filled with paper

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Word and Outlook
• Ability to multi task and prioritize work with guidance from Policy Center Representative
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
