UX Researcher (Digital Solutions & Innovation Department)
25 Amica Way, Lincoln, RI 02865

Want to join a company where doing good is what we do?
The feeling is mutual.

We’re redefining excellent customer experiences. Research makes that happen.

To deliver an unmatched experience, we’re looking for self-starters, driven team players who embrace our user-centric vision and help facilitate change. You’ll be a key creative influencer for multiple projects and initiatives.

As a customer advocate, you will use your research to focus on creating great digital user experiences. You’ll be empowered to develop and lead research strategies, analyze and synthesize your research findings, and develop actionable insights. You’ll work directly with other researchers and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that customer needs translate into engaging experiences across all digital channels.

Working in an Agile environment, you'll be immersed in teamwork, consistently collaborating as you focus on problems and users rather than shortsighted solutions. You’ll work with your team to understand project requirements, customer pain points and user insights as you define a product vision that supports Amica's strategic plan to create peace of mind and build enduring relationships.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Identify, plan and execute qualitative and quantitative research methods to understand our customers and their needs, identify design improvements, and discover new opportunities

  • Create personas, scenarios, storyboards, conceptual models, journey and experience maps, service blueprints, and other artifacts to help drive design vision and strategy
  • Prepare and deliver concise, creative and impactful research reports to members of project teams and other stakeholders at all levels within the organization
  • May be called upon to handle other duties as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Storytelling and other narratives to create deep empathy for customers and their needs
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with desktop and mobile app research tools for moderated and unmoderated remote usability testing

Benefits include:

  • Paid vacation, holidays and sick days
  • Generous leave programs including paid parental bonding leave
