Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an Accountant within our Tax Department. The selected individual will be responsible for the basic accounting activities relating to the Company’s tax filing and reporting requirements.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Accurately and timely prepare/review and file tax related documents, returns and payments as indicated on the tax calendar.
• Prepare monthly tax accrual and deferred tax provision for any Amica entity. Provide guidance of Associate Accountant’s workpaper preparation where necessary.
• Train Associate Accountant on basic tax calendar filings and payments.
• Obtain working knowledge of systems necessary to complete all duties assigned.
• Perform basic tax research on issues affecting the Company.
• Handle other duties assigned by Tax Supervisor.
• May be called upon to handle other duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum of 1 year experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel in particular
