The Accounting Rotation Program is a two-year, entry-level program, that develops high potential talent with a well-rounded experience through the Accounting Department at Amica. The commitment will provide rotations in three different segments of Accounting for eight-month durations. Through your rotations, you will receive mentors amongst our leadership team and within each section to provide you with support during your transition. The Associate Accountant will be exposed to a challenging, hands on workload that will require cross- departmental collaboration and teamwork.


Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Three, eight-month rotations within Financial Reporting, Corporate Tax and Treasury.
• Responsibilities may include the following:
o Prepares and analyzes monthly financial statements, quarterly/annual reports and assist in the preparation of management reports.
o Accurately and timely preparation and filing of tax related documents, returns and payments as indicated on the tax calendar.
oMaintain and reconcile bank account activity to the general ledger and prepares analysis schedules.
• At the end of each rotation period, participants will complete a program evaluation form with their section manager and supervisor.
• At the conclusion of the program, management will determine the employee’s final placement within the rotating sections based on participant feedback and departmental need.
• May be called to handle other duties as needed

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 0-2 years of accounting/financial reporting experience or internship experience, preferred.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft applications.
• Strong ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
