Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking an AEM Application Owner who will be responsible for the short- and long-term technical strategy for personalized digital experiences using the Adobe Experience Manager Application, operational readiness, appropriate documentation, and alignment with teams around quality and integrity of development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide theoretical knowledge to teams who are active within the application to ensure consistency through the development process
  • Responsible for system design, content model definition, data design, and application architecture, along with setup and deployment of production environments, for high availability digital solutions.
  • Collaborate with product owners and other stakeholders to understand application needs and align strategy appropriately for the realization of business goals.
  • Architect and design headless content APIs for consumption by multiple digital touch points including Web, responsive, and Mobile native apps for a seamless omni channel experience.
  • Collaborate with team members, as well as across teams and departments, to build a state-of-the-art Digital Platform using Adobe’s Product Suite.
  • Communicate and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices set by the Tech Office for all employees who are developing within the application.
  • Define and manage the technology delivery roadmap for the organization.
  • Collaborate with DS Talent Managers to help support necessary training and growth of team members working within the application.
  • Maintain strong development skills through ongoing participation in coding activities, identifying system deficiencies and implementing effective solutions which are fully integrated and fine-tuned via data driven insights.
  • Design Content targeting and testing Scenarios and architect how those scenarios will be implemented in AEM and Adobe Target, with an eye on improving the customer experience across all device types
  • Architect software design and create logical and physical design of system components such as repository layout, server architecture and communications frameworks
  • Ensure application meets or exceeds standards for performance and up-time.
  • Ensure technical documentation is up to date.
  • Maintain effective internal controls, execute risk, and control procedures.
  • Serve as relationship manager for the application vendor and vendor products used by the assigned application, including evaluating vendors and researching new products & technologies.
  • Set standards around stylistic and implementation components, while in alignment with department wide coding standards.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Security to ensure application security standards are met.
  • Responsible for major incident management process as well as approvals for code moving to production.
  • Run design sessions to make decisions, often engaging in deep-dive analysis with fellow architects and engineers.


Requirements
:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of experience managing IT projects and coordinating IT project teams. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include:

  • 5 years of Solution architecture experience with proven track record in conceptualizing, designing, building, and deploying Enterprise Content Management solutions, and executing projects using Adobe platform and Interwoven suite of products.
  • Must have handled at least 2 large AEM implementations in AEM 6.x. as a technical architect
  • 3 years of experience utilizing Agile/Scrum methodology in estimating & other project delivery activities, and providing process input to project & management teams
  • 5 years of experience in web development technologies (HTML, JS, CSS, jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.) including experience building cutting edge web & responsive mobile experiences using Sightly and CoralUI/TouchUI frameworks
  • 5 years of experience using AEM in building a content architecture, leveraging templates, components, dialogs & widgets, using the core frameworks Apache Sling and Apache Felix
  • 3 years of experience using AEM as a headless system for consumption across multiple touchpoints to ensure a consistent user journey.
  • 5 years of experience developing solutions using Java, Java EE and Servlets, applying understanding of enterprise Java frameworks such as Spring.
  • 2 years of experience in integration with components including Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics & Google Analytics

Requires attendance at conferences and training pertaining to Adobe AEM or other products in the Adobe Suite (5% - 10% of the time)

Salary range: $135,000 - $145,400 per year. 37.5 hour work week 9:00 am – 5:00 pm.
