Ability to work within an electronic claim file environment, taking claim reports, investigating, negotiating, and settling auto, home, marine and liability claims
Professional telephone manner to establish and maintain effective relationships to gain trust and respect
Ability to problem solve and use time effectively in order to multitask and prioritize work
Works well with others in a team setting

A starting annual salary of $36,750 ($18.85 per hour).

The 37.5-hour schedule will be Monday through Friday between the core hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with the potential to work holidays and a few Saturdays per year.

High School or equivalent education required
Previous customer service experience
Must be able to pass state insurance license exam and meet continuing education requirements to maintain license, 6-8 weeks of comprehensive training is provided.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Computer keyboard skills (35 wpm) and computer processing
Previous insurance background is a plus, but not required
