Our office in Lincoln, Rhode Island, is seeking an Associate IT Developer who, under direct supervision, develops, codes, tests and debugs IT solutions using existing and emerging technologies.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Gains, utilizes and maintains technical and applications knowledge, including the use of technologies, tools, programming standards, established processes and concepts necessary to develop quality IT solutions
• Participates in activities associated with the Application Development Life Cycle including design, construction, testing and implementation of IT solutions, and handles basic activities independently. Assists in preparing program specifications from which applications will be developed for basic changes
• Collaborates with team members to complete work in a timely manner
• Provides coverage and support of production application systems
• May be called upon to handle other duties as required

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with 1+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
• Competent to work at the highest technical level of all phases of the Application Development Life Cycle
• Must have a strong working knowledge of Java, JavaScript, HTML, XML, Web Services, SQL Server and OOA/D commensurate with 1-3 years of experience preferred
• Spring Boot and/or Spring Framework experience preferred
• Attends training and/or industry seminars as appropriate to stay abreast of current technologies, trends and directions
