Job Description

Location: Lincoln, RI (Enterprise Cybersecurity)

Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer who will provide technical leadership for the Enterprise Cybersecurity department at Amica. This position will be responsible for the development and design of security controls and solutions with the ultimate goal of reducing risk associated with information systems. This position will also provide cyber security consultation services to other departments within Amica to ensure applications and systems are designed and implemented with security best practices, and fall in line with existing security standards and frameworks.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
• Evaluate emerging technologies and security tools to determine alignment with Amica’s internal systems, infrastructure, and processes
• Develop cyber security standards and guidelines for the organization, based on NIST and ISO frameworks
• Advise and consult with business and IT teams regarding cyber security issues as they relate to business and IT systems
• Recommend security controls to ensure changes to business processes and infrastructure do not negatively impact the security posture of the organization
• Provide security and governance input throughout various business and IT project lifecycles
• Provide consultation to business and IT leaders in the areas of secure network and systems design, access controls, and other information security best practices
• Provide security input to the application development process, ensuring security best practices are followed for Amica’s internally developed application portfolio
• Provide security escalation support, technical leadership, and consultation for operational and engineering teams

Job Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in a Cybersecurity architecture position
• Some software development experience preferred
• Familiarity with Splunk’s SPL for writing complex searches
• Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain and enforce security measures
• Working knowledge of a broad range of cyber security domains:
Data protection / DLP
Network and Email Security
User Authentication and authorization systems
Web application firewalls
Database Security
Identity and access management solutions
Privileged access management solutions
