Responsibilities:
• Acts as a technical resource to support the help desk, CIS staff and other corporate entities.
• Configures, installs, and/or upgrades new and existing personal/laptop computer hardware and software.
• Performs appropriate PC repairs and, when warranted, places service calls and follows through on repairs of personal computer equipment.
• Keeping Accurate Inventories
• Responsible for Life Cycle Administration for Client Devices
• May interact with vendors to resolve personal computer hardware and software problems.
• Interacts with appropriate areas to identify and evaluate software compatibility issues.
• Assists the user community, as needed, in the development of solutions using appropriate PC office productivity tools.

Qualifications:
• Associate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• 3-5 years of experience within the IT Asset Management field
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
• Proven research and analytical skills and the ability to manage details
• Experience with Windows OS and hardware, imaging processes.
• Proven customer-focused service (such as help desk, IT support, etc.).
• Must be willing to conduct research and attend training and/or industry seminars to stay abreast of current and emerging technologies.
• Experience with two or more of these areas required:
o Mac OS and hardware.
o ITIL ticketing systems, such as Remedy.
o Software deployment and packaging such as SCCM, LANDesk, etc.
o Network-based multifunction devices (printer/scanners).
o Virtual desktops; VMWare preferred.
