Location: 100 Amica Way, Lincoln, RI (Internal Audit Department)

Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking a IT Auditor who will be responsible for planning and executing risk based Information Technology audits and projects to ensure appropriate levels of controls are in place over business and technology processes. Will document, review and test internal controls, identify gaps, and assess operational and technology processes and procedures.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Develops process workflows, audit plans, and test procedures following a defined risk assessment process.
• Identifies and evaluates the adequacy of key internal controls over significant business and IT risks.
• Produces clear, complete, concise, and well organized work papers conforming to internal standards.
• Actively uses project management skills to aid in the completion of audits and/or projects within established timelines and budgets.
• Communicates and collaborates with management to ensure control concerns and/or operational inefficiencies are appropriately addressed.
• Keeps abreast of current developments in information systems and auditing professions, and changes in local, state, and federal laws.
• May be called upon to handle other duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree, preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cyber security or Management
• 1 to 3 years of internal or external audit experience.
• Strong technical audit, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of standard auditing practices and procedures, with the ability to apply them to assignments.
• Desire to pursue additional insurance and professional designations.
