Our office in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to serve as technical lead and manage software development through all phases of the project lifecycle to ensure the quality delivery of highly complex IT solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply principles of engineering to develop Salesforce and web applications.
  • Provide technical solutions to complex business problems.
  • Develop and assist in the development and enhancement of existing and new Salesforce implementations via both native metadata configuration and custom development using Salesforce technologies and other external languages.
  • Working as Technical Lead/Lead developer for salesforce.com projects, translating business requirements into well architected solutions.
  • Implement proofs of concept and evaluate new Salesforce releases, implement new releases.
  • Prototype and pilot new tools and features to help deliver solutions faster, with less manual intervention and provide optimized business value.
  • Work with different Salesforce Technologies (Development, Apex, Triggers, Visualforce Page, Lightning components, JavaScript, CSS, JSON, Workflows, Process Builder, flows, deployments, SOQL, Informatica Cloud Loader, Metadata APIs, Einstein Analytics).
  • Integrate Salesforce CRM with Other Enterprise Systems, working with different Salesforce Integration Technologies such as SOAP, REST, Webservice, Callouts, Mashup.
  • Work with Salesforce technologies Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Single Sign-on, OAuth.
  • Deployment of code using metadata API and GitHub.
  • Monitor Bugs and provide production support using Salesforce technologies.
  • Establish best practices for development of scalable applications, security, Integration, Governing via architect review, developer review, peer review meetings.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members for successful deliverables, conducting regular meetings, code reviews and resolving their issues.
  • Promote Agile principles and methodologies, following computer engineering best practices.
  • Work with business users and Product Owner to understand the business requirements.
  • Lead technical design and solutioning sessions, documenting the solution designs, and communicating the technical designs to development team.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, consultants, other engineers, and analysts to uncover pain points with processes and identify optimization opportunities.

 

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of experience in software and web application development with Salesforce technologies. Experience, which may be gained concurrently, must include:

  • 5 years of Salesforce Enterprise development experience including 4 years as Senior level.
  • 5 years of Salesforce architect experience using design patterns, complex development knowledge using Salesforce technologies.
  • 5 years of experience using Salesforce technologies including apex, triggers, VisualForce pages, Lightning Components, JavaScript, Workflow, Process Builder, flows, SOQL, DataLoader, Informatica Cloud Loader, WorkBench, Metadata APIs
  • 5 years of experience with Salesforce integration with other systems using different integration patterns and technologies including REST, SOAP, webservice.
  • 5 Years of experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud
  • 5 years of experience using Salesforce Metadata API, and deployments using ANT, ChangeSets
  • 3 years of Salesforce authentication mechanisms experience such as Single Sign-on
  • 2 years of experience creating datasets and dashboard using Einstein Analytics
  • 5 years of experience as development lead or technical lead and managing development teams through all phases of the project life cycle to ensure quality delivery of complex solutions.
  • 5 years of experience solving business problems with technical solutions based on expert knowledge of Salesforce.com and its related development tools and technologies.
