Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Life Technology Services Supervisor. The selected candidate will be responsible for all facets of IT services, processes, systems and technology deployed into the Amica Life production environment. Will assist in providing guidance to the team on implementation of third-party solutions, as well as, integration efforts with our Corporate Information Systems Department.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

•Plan, organize and supervise daily activities for the maintenance of the current production environment and business applications
•Support Life Systems management in coordinating and implementing code release schedules for Amica Life production environments
•Responsible for quantifying and reporting on uptime and system stability metrics for all production systems
•Address all production system audit concerns
•Partner effectively with the CIS Department to implement reliable, scalable, and efficient solutions
•Update and maintain technical support documentation
•Ensure production implementations comply with Amica technical standards
•Research technical solutions and ensure that they adhere to Amica technical standards
•Prioritize defect resolutions, solutions, and implementations around technical and business impact within service level agreements (SLA)
•Coordinate production activities with external vendors
•Support the business recovery and contingency planning process
•Attend training and/or industry seminars as appropriate, to stay abreast of current technologies, trends, and directions
•May be called upon to handle other duties as required

Job Requirements:

•Bachelor’s degree required with at least 3 years of experience in an IS focused department
•Superior analytical and problem solving skills
•Familiarity with IT & business systems, including databases and integration technologies
•Familiarity working across key architecture domains (portal, application, data, infrastructure, security)
•Requires on-call and weekend availability to support the production release schedule
•Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Visio and Outlook)
•Knowledge of ITIL standards is preferred, but not required
•Knowledge of Atlassian suite, i.e. Jira, Confluence is preferred, but not required
