Our office in Lincoln, Rhode Island is seeking a Life Underwriter.

The 37.5 hour/week work schedule will be Monday through Friday between the core hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., with the ability to work remotely.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
• Reviewing medical and financial reports
• Approving life insurance applications
• Communicating underwriting decisions to sales representatives and applicants in a timely manner

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Minimum of 2 years individual life underwriting experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of medical systems
• Completion of some LOMA and/or ALU exams is preferred, but not required
