Responsibilities:
Lead multiple scrum teams on complex initiatives. Oversee scrum processes and coach interdepartmental teams while promoting the use of Scrum and Agile best practices and methodology.
Organizes and facilitates Agile ceremonies, identifies improvement opportunities to optimize velocity and quality, while mitigating risk. Tracks and communicates the overall team progress providing visibility to stakeholders.
Application of Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Test-driven Development, Continuous Testing, Burn-down Metrics, Velocity etc.
Leads the interaction with Product Owners, business partners, project team members, other IT colleagues, and external vendors to ensure clarity of the business problem, outcome and scope and ensures issues and risks are understood and resolved.
Develops relationships through collaboration with all appropriate parties by demonstrating an advanced understanding of business strategies and objectives as they relate to their operating models, products, and distribution models.
Collaborate across programs (Agile and waterfall) and platforms for the identification and management of interdependencies.
Arranges and facilitates subject specific sessions as required in order to ensure obstacles are removed and informed decisions are rendered
Actively engage with other Scrum Masters to continuously improve the Agile practice and Agile maturity across programs and the CIS organization
Attends training and/or industry seminars as appropriate, to stay abreast of current technologies, trends and directions.
Pursues professional designations, such as Certified Scrum Master, if not previously accredited.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred, such as information technology, computer science
3+ years of Agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, etc.
Has an awareness of external industry trends and key competitors and applies those capabilities while managing interactions between IT and business colleagues
Able to make decisions and solve problems in a fast paced, high expectation environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel.
Able to work independently, show judgement and initiative in order to accomplish job duties.
Proficient in use of MS Project, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Experience with agile toolsets such as Jira and Confluence a plus.
Previous experience as a project manager, preferred
Professional designations – PMP or CSM designation preferred.
