Our office located in Lincoln, RI is seeking a Senior Accountant within our Accounting Department. The selected individual will be responsible for moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of general ledgers, managerial reports and financial statements.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Analyzes the effects of the operations on the financial results of the Company
• Interprets and identifies trends or deviations in financial statements
• Research new technical accounting pronouncements and their potential effect on Company policies and procedures
• Assists in identifying improvements related to month end, management reporting and other core functions of the group
• Provides leadership by example through feedback and input in group meetings and discussions
• May be called upon to handle other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance
• Thorough knowledge of life statutory accounting principles, theories and terminology
• Minimum of two years experience
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
• Pursuit of advanced degree/professional designations recommended
• May be CPA exam eligible
