Amica Insurance located in Lincoln, RI is seeking an intern to work in the Data Services section within our Life Data Services DepartmentThis is a paid internship and the working hours are 37.50 hours per week during the summer months with the possibility of continuing employment during the school year.

Job Responsibilities

Our internship program is designed for individuals who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college/university. The candidate must have completed their sophomore year before the start of the summer internship and should be pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Data Analytics.  A GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.

This position involves supporting SQLServer stored procedures and SSRS reporting.  In addition, working in the cloud environment, including AWS Lake and Snowflake data warehouse.

  • Exposure to web-based technologies and database concepts is a plus.
  • Flexibility and the willingness to work with packaged software solutions is also beneficial.
  • Training will be provided.


  • Candidates must be familiar with data analytics. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, along with exceptional organizational skills
  • The ability to work in a team environment is also required. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visio, Excel and database SQL concepts is a plus. 
  • Training will be provided.
