Our office located in Lone Tree, CO is seeking a Associate Property Claims Representative to join the team!
Job Overview:
The job duties include but are not limited to handling personal lines insurance claims including homeowners, marine and liability claims. Substantial customer contact via the telephone and correspondence is required. Responsibilities include working in an electronic claim file environment, taking claim telephone reports, investigating, negotiating and settling claims and general office functions. Candidates will be required to obtain a state insurance license and meet continuing education requirements.
A starting annual salary is between $43,105 - $65,784 based on level of previous experience and/or applicable licenses within the property and casualty industry. In addition, hired applicants will be eligible for the company’s annual variable incentive paid based on company performance. Additional commission opportunities may apply to customer facing sales and service representatives. This position is eligible for overtime subject to manager approval.

Schedule:
This position will be 37.50 hours working Monday - Friday between the core hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm with the potential to work some Saturdays and holidays as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service
- Assist customers with new and existing claims via telephone
- Process letters to those involved in the claims process
- Issue payments to insured's, claimants and vendors
- Desk adjust losses for a variety of claims with the exception of bodily injury
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
- Previous customer service and sales experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Previous insurance background is a plus, but not required
- After hire, employees will be required to obtain a state insurance license and meet continuing education requirements to maintain their license (comprehensive training will be provided)
