Job Overview:
As part of our team, you will serve as the business expert in multiple and/or major technology and product implementations. Consistently represent the product goals and vision, as well as assist in the creation, facilitation and reporting of project solutions and decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Committed to developing an enterprise level knowledge of various applications that interface with Amica’s products.
- Achieve a foundational technical understanding of the product.
- Identify and analyzes relevant business needs and practices, evaluates options and recommends solutions.
- Serve as a business expert on projects while partnering with information technology (IT), SCS, Marketing and other relevant areas in order to develop and/or update business requirements, communications, and workflow processes.
- Assist with aligning system design with the needs of the business for the benefit of the company as a whole.
- Serve as a liaison between the business and technical personnel, including external vendors.
- Support product implementation which includes design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. This includes, but is not limited to documenting business requirements, use cases, test cases, and facilitating the resolution of production incidents.
- Provide support for the creation of training materials and instruct users on strategies, processes, and/or procedures.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external personnel.
The 37.5-hour work week is scheduled from Monday through Friday, between the core hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM
A hybrid schedule will be available once trained to work independently, with three days reporting to our Lincoln, RI office and two days working from home. We welcome individuals with higher levels of experience and education. Compensation will be thoughtfully evaluated to reflect your valuable expertise.
This role does not currently offer employment visa sponsorship.

Qualifications:
- Associates degree and 2-4 years’ relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
- Foundational understanding of Amica’s policy offerings, rating procedures, endorsements, billing processes and underwriting guidelines.
- Effectively and consistently manages tasks and goals within given deadlines.
- Creative problem solving, while mitigating costs and risk.
- Keeps abreast of new developments within the company as well as the industry as a whole.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Amica conducts background checks which includes a review of criminal, educational, employment and social media histories, and if the role involves use of a company vehicle, a motor vehicle or driving history report. The background check will not be initiated until after a conditional offer of employment is made and the candidate accepts the offer.
