Are you passionate about data and eager to shape the future of data governance at Amica? Join us as a Data Governance Analyst and make a significant impact on our data initiatives! The Data Governance Analyst is responsible for executing an enterprise-wide Data Governance strategy, ensuring the quality, consistency, and security of our data assets. This role involves collaborating with various departments to implement data governance policies and procedures and monitoring compliance.
- Support data initiatives and transformative efforts throughout the enterprise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and resolve data management issues.
- Partner with data owners and stewards to implement data governance strategy.
- Create and implement an enterprise business glossary, data catalog, and data dictionary.
- Implement and maintain a data governance tool.
- Monitor and report metrics on the data governance program.
- Build and maintain strong relationships across the organization.
- Bachelor's degree and/or 3-5 years’ insurance experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency with data governance tools for data quality and metadata management, such as Collibra.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong prioritization, organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to build productive and positive relationships across organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and the definition of data requirements to meet complex business needs.
- Solid understanding of data governance frameworks, principles, and best practices.
- Skilled at developing presentations with business/technical details for key stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in both technology and business environments.
